We mount infrared heaters on walls and ceilings in Vienna. We handle the mechanical fixing: wall scanner, heavy-duty anchors, laser alignment. The electrical connection to mains is handled by a licensed electrician.
Infrared heaters weigh between 8 and 30 kg depending on the model. Mounted on a wall or ceiling, additional leverage forces act from the distance to the mounting surface. Standard plugs are not designed for this. We use heavy-duty anchors and size the mounting for the actual weight.
What We Do and What We Don't
We handle the mechanical installation: scan the wall, drill holes, set anchors, fix the bracket, hang and align the heater. The electrical connection to the mains (230V) may only be carried out by a licensed electrician in Austria. If the heater connects to an existing standard socket, many models can be put into operation without an electrician. We discuss this with you in advance.
Infrared Heater Ceiling Mounting Vienna
Ceiling mounting is often the more efficient choice for infrared heaters, as the heat radiation from above reaches the entire room evenly. In concrete ceilings we mount with SDS-drilled concrete anchors. In drywall ceilings we anchor directly into the carrier profiles.

In Austria, connecting appliances to the 230V mains must be carried out by a licensed electrician. We handle the mechanical mounting. For the mains connection, we can refer you to an electrician on request.

Do I need an electrician for infrared heater mounting?
Not for the mechanical mounting on wall or ceiling, which we handle. For connecting to the 230V mains in Austria, a licensed electrician is required if there is no existing socket. Many infrared heaters connect to a standard domestic socket and require no additional electrical work.
Does an infrared heater hold on a drywall ceiling?
Yes, when anchored directly into the carrier profiles. We locate the profiles with our scanner and mount exclusively there. Cavity anchors in the gypsum board alone are not sufficient for an infrared heater.
