General Terms and Conditions (T&C)
1. Scope of Application
These T&C apply to all services provided by Handwerker Netz (Owner: Nicolae Cojuhari), hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor." By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms.
2. Scope of Services & Subcontracting
The Contractor provides services in the areas of furniture assembly, wall mounting, and home maintenance. The Contractor is entitled to use qualified partner companies or subcontractors to fulfill the contract. The contract is concluded exclusively between the customer and the Contractor.
3. Conclusion of Contract
A contract is formed upon acceptance of a quote (written, via email, or verbal) or upon confirmation of an appointment.
4. Prices, Minimum Order Value & Payment Terms
The prices agreed upon at the time of ordering apply. Unless otherwise agreed, the invoice amount is due immediately upon completion of service without deduction.
Minimum order value
€60 per visit
- Every visit is billed at a minimum of €60. This covers travel, finding parking, and bringing tools and fixings.
- If the fixed price of a single job is lower, for example €45 for one lamp, €60 is still charged.
- Several jobs in the same visit are added together, and the minimum applies only once.
Example: lamp €45 + mirror €35 in the same visit = €80, not €120. Collecting small jobs and requesting them together pays off.
When billed hourly: €60 for the first hour, €50 for each additional hour. A minimum of 1 hour is charged, even for shorter jobs.
Fixed price: An agreed fixed price is binding and covers the scope of work as described in the request (description, photos, product details). If the work takes longer than planned, no extra charge is made for the additional time.
The fixed price can only be adjusted if
- the information in the request was incomplete or inaccurate and this leads to more work (for example a different wall type, additional parts or a larger model), or
- the customer requests additional work that was not part of the request.
In both cases the Contractor states the additional price before starting the extra work. Extra work is only carried out with the customer's consent.
Furniture planning: If the Contractor plans furniture for the customer (for example an IKEA kitchen or a PAX wardrobe) and then carries out the assembly, the planning is free of charge. The plan is based on the measurements, photos and information provided by the customer. The customer checks the plan and shopping list before ordering and orders from the retailer themselves. If the shopping list contains a wrong part due to a planning error by the Contractor, the Contractor takes care of the exchange and does not charge for the additional visit this requires. The cost of the furniture itself is borne by the customer. This does not apply if the error results from incorrect measurements or information provided by the customer.
Broken-out drill holes (Altbau): If a drill hole breaks out during mounting, for example in crumbly brick or plaster, it can be filled with 2-component fast mortar. This is charged additionally at €30 per cartridge used. The Contractor informs the customer beforehand, and the hole is only filled with the customer's consent. If the customer declines, the Contractor chooses another drilling spot where possible. If no safe fixing is possible without filling, the Contractor may decline mounting at that spot.
Exempt from VAT according to § 6 (1) (27) UStG.
5. Travel Costs & Service Area
Flat rates for travel may be agreed upon for assignments within a 25 km radius of Vienna. Outside this radius, travel costs will be calculated based on actual expenditure.
6. Cancellation
Cancellations by the customer are free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. For shorter-notice cancellations, the Contractor reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of €50.
7. Customer's Duty to Cooperate
The customer must ensure that the work area is accessible and that all necessary information (e.g., wall composition for mountings) is provided.
8. Warranty & Liability
Warranties are provided according to statutory regulations. The Contractor's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. No liability is assumed for damages caused by faulty on-site conditions (e.g., fragile pipes inside walls).
9. Final Provisions
Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
